Jurriaan Strous

Jurriaan Strous, psychiatrist, is specialised in crisis intervention, in treatment of mood disorder and anxiety disorder and in problems in the area of personality. He has worked at different practices such as Lentis in Groningen, the University Medical Center of Groningen (UMCG) and GGZ Rivierduinen in Leiden. Jurriaan graduated in Medicine at the University of Utrecht  and specialised to psychiatrist at Amsterdam UMC. His promotional research focuses on the effectivenes of ketamine in case of acute suicidality. He is well experienced in farmacotherapy and integrates in his treatment psychodynamic principles.
